The Migration of Monarch Butterflies

Have you ever heard of the migration of monarch butterflies? They have to fly for more than 3,000km to reach their winter home! When winter is over, they will return back to the north. With their short life span, it is impossible to finish their full migration journey on their own. These butterflies usually breed in the spring and die soon afterward, but their young ones will complete the journey north. Isn't it quite fascinating?
